On April 24, Celero was recognized by PMI Manitoba with the Project of the Year Award for the successful development and implementation of its IT Service Management (ITSM) Project Phase I.
The Project Management Institute (PMI) is the world’s leading non-profit professional association in Project Management. Each year, the Manitoba chapter honours organizations that successfully complete a project exemplifying superior performance and execution. This award is the highest recognition in Manitoba for excellence and superior performance in Project Management.
“We are honoured to have been recognized by such an esteemed organization,” says Len Hendricks, Chief Technology Officer at Celero. “Our goal with this project was to successfully adopt a new system and approach to managing processes, for both our employees and our clients. I am proud of the team’s accomplishment, and even prouder that they received this recognition for their hard work and dedication.”
The project was completed in December 2018 and included the adoption of ITIL best practices for IT processes and the implementation the Celero eService Desk. The new eService desk is a modern, cloud-based platform for users to easily report and track the status of incidents and service requests. This phase laid the groundwork for future IT initiatives.
